About Cala Banyalbufar
Cala Banyalbufar is a picturesque cove on Mallorca's west coast, nestled in the Serra de Tramuntana and surrounded by steep cliffs. The approximately 70-meter-long and 15-meter-wide beach consists mainly of pebbles and rocks. A unique feature is a small waterfall that serves as a natural shower. There are no tourist facilities like beach bars or restaurants directly at the cove; visitors should bring their own provisions. The clear waters and rocky underwater landscape make the cove ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Due to the rocky seabed, wearing water shoes is recommended. Access is via a path with stairs leading down from the village of Banyalbufar. The descent is relatively straightforward, but sturdy footwear is advised. Cala Banyalbufar is less crowded than other beaches on Mallorca, offering an authentic natural experience. The waterfall in the cove is a special highlight, providing natural refreshment.
