About Platja de Son Maties
Platja de Son Maties is a beach of white sand between Palmanova and Magaluf in Calvià, south-west of Palma, with a promenade behind it. It faces east into the sheltered Bay of Palma, so sunrise is over the sea. It is fully equipped, with sunbeds, boat hire, diving, a playground, step-free access, lifeguards in summer and many restaurants. EU bathing water: good (2025).
